The line of Koheilan Rodan in Egypt through Bint Rissala
Bint Rissala (Ibn Yashmak X Risala) was bred by Lady Wentworth. She was foaled at Crabbet Park in 1920 and named Razieh. She was bought by the RAS and exported to Egypt where she founded a large family through three of her daughters: Yaquota 1937 by Balance, Kateefa 1938 by Shahloul and Yashmak 1941 by Sheikh El Arab.
Kateefa 1938 (Shahloul X Bint Rissala) and her daughter Bint Kateefa by Sid Abouhom, born 1954. Both had more colts than fillies and gave important sires.
Kaysoon 1958 by Nazeer and Farag 1962 by Morafic were both sons of Bint Kateefa who became influential sires in Europe where they reached an age over 30 years!
Yashmak 1941 (Sheikh El Arab X Bint Rissala), founder of a large family through her daughters Om El Saad, Rahma and Rashida.
Om El Saad 1945 (Shahloul X Yashmak) gave Bint Om El Saad 1958 by Nazeer (left), dam of US National Campion mare Serenity Sonbolah 1967 by Sameh and Ikhnatoon 1974 by Farazdac, head sire at El Zahraa. Om El Saad had also Saaida, Rafica, Kaydahom, Salma I and Zahda.

Rashida 1968 (El Sareei X Yashmak) and her daughter Nazic 1961 by Morafic (right). Two daughters of Nazic came to Germany: Nazeefa 1967 by Gassir at Dr. Filsingerīs studfarm and Nana 1971 by Tuhotmos at the Kauber Platte. Nazeefa is dam of Nagha by Gharib, foundation mare for the Seidlitz stud and granddam of our mare Nahzle by Masr El Dahman.
From the mare Yaquota 1937 (Balance X Bint Rissala) a family of some importance comes. Yaquota was a broodmare at Inshass and no photo of her is available. On the left is Negma 1942 by El Belbesi and on the right Ameena 1951 by Hamdan, a daughter and a granddaughter of Yaquota respectively. Ameena is the dam of Enayat and Omnia pictured below.
Enayat 1961 (Morafic X Ameena), left, and Omnia 1966 (Alaa El Din X Ameena). Omnia was a broodmare at Gleanloch farms and granddam of the important stallion Al Kidir 1983 (The Egyptian Prince X AK Khattaara) in Germany.

Alaa El Din 1956 (Nazeer X Kateefa) was one of the most influential sons of Nazeer and head stallion at El Zahraa after Morafic left Egypt for America. Alaa El Din was a famous broodmare sire who gave Hanan, Safinaz, Magida, Omnia, Maheeba, Moneera just to name the most important.
Farazdac 1966 (Alaa el Din X Farasha) was the most important son of Alaa El Din, a Hadban Enzahi by strain and sire of Ikhnatoon 1974 out of Bint Om El Saad, a Koheilan Rodan and granddaughter of Yashmak, therefore doubling the blood of Bint Rissala:
Ikhnatoon 1974 (Farazdac X Bint Om El Saad). He was the sire of Adl, chief sire at El Zahraa until his death in 2009.
Serenity Sonbolah 1967 (Sameh X Bint Om El Saad) is a half sister to Ikhnatoon
Naheed (Madkour Or.Ar. X Nagha), bred by the Seidlitz family, goes back to Yashmak and gained the highest scores for an Arabian stallion at the stallion performance test in Germany ever.
Al Kidir 1983 (The Egyptian Prince X AK Khataara) shown here in old age at Michael Ponnathīs farm in Germany, a fine broodmare sire.
