Part Three: The Family of Bint Riyala

Bint Riyala was a bay and foaled in 1920 at Crabbet Park where she was named Risama. Her sire Nadir was by Mesaoud out of Nefisa and her dam Riyala was by the Mesaoud-son Astraled out of Ridaa. There are no photoes of Bint Riyala. Her daughter Bint Bint Riyala 1924 by Gamil Manial was very productive and gave as most important daughter Malaka 1941 by Kheir.                       Malaka 1941 (Kheir X Bint Bint Riyala) and her daughter Nazeera 1954 by Nazeer (right). Malaka had two other daughters by Nazeer: Samia 1952 and Mamlouka 1953.

 Waseem 1958 (Nazeer X Malaka), used as sire in El Zahraa. Malaka also gave Azmi (Nahr El Nil) by Sid Abouhom, who was presented to the USSR and had only a short life at Tersk studfarm.

                                                              Ghroub 1971 (Galal X Set El Wadi by El Sareei) was exported to Germany and had offspring with great success in riding competitions. She goes back to Mamlouka (Nazeer X Malaka).

     Asadd 1970 (Sultan X Amani) was US National Champion stallion in halter. His dam Amani 1962 was by El Sareei out of Nazeera.

      Imperial Imdal 1982 (Ansata Imperial X Dalia) was US Reserve National Champion in Halter. He was later leased to Ariely, Israel and gave offspring of worldwide influence and reknown like Laheeb and his son Al Lahab or the mare Loubna. Imperial Imdal´s dam Dalia was by Morafic out of Romana II (Sameh X Nazeera).

       Ghamin 2000 (Naheed X E-Gharlima) under owner and breeder Urte Kern. Ghamin combines both Bint Riyala (direct damline) and Bint Rissala (damline of Naheed).
